FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQs)

How do I schedule my appointment?

We reserve appointments very carefully, so you will receive Dr. Weiser, Dr.Grant or your hygienists’ full attention. Our phone hours are Wednesday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Please call our office at 805-899-3600 to schedule a time that is convenient for you. Should you need to change your appointment, it may take several weeks before another one is available. We ask that you call us directly so we can reschedule you personally rather than leaving a message on the after hours message machine. Please give us 48 hours notice if you must reschedule a visit. Our office will call you prior to your cosmetic dentistry appointment to verify the date and time and to see if you have any questions prior to your appointment.

Do you file my insurance for me?

For all appointments with Weiser & Grant Dentistry we ask that you pay for services at the time of your visit. We will gladly document your insurance paperwork as a courtesy and help you maximize your benefits. Payment will then be sent to you directly from the insurance.

Can I eat before my appointment?

Definitely. Please do. Especially if you are having a complete smile makeover, it is important that you eat prior to coming in. After you have received treatment, please follow your specific post operative instructions.

What are the “Spa Amenities” you have available in your office?

When you arrive, make yourself comfortable. Please help yourself to refreshments from our juice and snack bar. Choose a DVD movie or music from the AMENITIES MENU to keep you entertained during your appointment.
On your way back to the cosmetic dentistry treatment room, stop and dip your hands in our paraffin wax and enjoy the feel of moist hands to go with your new beautiful smile.
While you are having your smile treatment, the time will fly while you’re watching movies or listening to music. Warm blankets, foot-warmers and aromatic eye masks will keep you warm and cozy.

Should I wear my contact lenses?

If you’re comfortable taking naps in your lenses or keeping your contacts in for a long period of time, then you may want to wear your lenses. If you do not sleep well or you have dry eyes, you may want to wear your glasses instead of your contacts.

Should I drive myself or have a chauffeur?

If you need transportation to and from your dental office, we will be happy to arrange it for you. Please let us know how we can help.

What financing do you offer?

Weiser & Grant Dentistry is sensitive to the constrains of your budget and offer a variety of payment plans and financing options to help you get the dentistry you deserve at a cost you can afford!

Like other “cosmetic” procedures, most cosmetic dentistry procedures are not covered by insurance. But don’t let this dissuade you from doing the best for your smile and yourself. After all, this is an investment in your self-esteem, confidence and happiness! For other traditional dental procedures we are happy to assist you in the filing of any insurance claims for reimbursement.
